You’ve booked your first appointment and would like to know what to expect?
Your first appointment is all about getting to know each other.
When you arrive you will receive a medical history form, which you can fill in at your leisure in our waiting area. In a detailed conversation in a relaxed atmosphere, you can tell us about your concerns, wishes, ideas and expectations.
We are happy to listen and take plenty of time to answer your questions.
Examination & diagnosis
This is followed by an initial examination in which we record your dental status. We carefully examine your teeth, gums, periodontium and chewing muscles. We may take an overview X-ray to detect findings that are not visible at first glance and to get a complete picture of your oral health.
If you need urgent treatment – for example because of pain or a damaged restoration – we will of course help you straight away.
Based on all the information gathered, we make a diagnosis and, if necessary, draw up a treatment plan that we discuss with you in detail.
Transparency matters to us
We make sure you are informed about all treatment options that are suitable for you and about any costs that may arise – at every stage.
Further treatment usually takes place at your second appointment. A professional teeth cleaning before the actual treatment can also be useful.
